Item 4: Non Agenda Public Comment

This portion of the agenda provides an opportunity for members of the public to address the Task Force on items of interest within the jurisdiction of the Task Force but not on the agenda.

Comments will be limited to 2 minutes per speaker and a total of 10 minutes for the item. More public comment will be taken at the end of the meeting, if time allows. Submit request to speak to the Task Force prior to the start of the meeting.

This portion of the agenda provides an opportunity for the Task Force Chairperson to make announcements or comments.

Item 7: Development Services Department Update

Mike Westlake, Program Manager, will provide an update on the Infill/ Affordable Housing Expedite Program of the Development Services Department.

 
Item 8: City of San Diego Housing Need through 2010

The Task Force will make a conclusion on the number of units of housing needed in the City of San Diego through 2010 based on evidence and analysis provided by Subcommittee 1 and the Planning Department at the March 6 and March 20 meetings.

 
Item 9: Subcommittee Reports and Next Meeting Dates

Discussion and possible action regarding subcommittee investigations

a. Subcommittee 1 - Identification of Issues (if necessary)
b. Subcommittee 2 - Development, Regulations, and Incentives
c. Subcommittee 3 - Finance
d. Subcommittee 4 - Preservation and Renters and Homeowners
