DeeDee Alari, MBA, CPA, CFE, CIA, CICA, Principal Auditor

DeeDee Alari joined the City Auditor’s Office in August 2008. DeeDee holds an M.B.A from the University of San Diego and a B.A. degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Point Loma Nazarene College. She holds certification as a CPA, CFE, and CIA. Her notable experience includes performing complex financial analysis and consulting services for marital dissolution and commercial litigation cases, and performing fraud investigations and investigatory audits, specializing in non-profit, government, and contract compliance with LECG. DeeDee also worked as a financial investigator with the City of San Diego Ethics Commission; financial analyst with the City of San Diego “6 to 6” after-school program; and auditor with the City of San Diego.
