Alberto previously worked at the Latino Policy and Politics Institute research center at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs researching economic development and public health issues affecting Latinos across the U.S.

Alberto earned his Master of Public Policy and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish & Portuguese. Alberto's master's group capstone project reviewed the Los Angeles Department of Transportation's micromobility e-scooter program to create a holistic regulatory framework that ensures access, particularly in underserved neighborhoods.
