Farhat Popal, MPP, Principal Auditor

Farhat Popal joined the City Auditor's Office as a Principal Auditor in June 2009. Farhat has a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/International Relations from the University of California, San Diego. Her experience includes an internship with our Office assisting with a research project for the best practices, methodologies and protocols regarding local government user fees, and an internship with the City of Oakland's Office of the City Auditor conducting a performance audit of their Residential Permit Parking Program.
