Approval of committee minutes for the meeting of September 30, 2002 and October 7, 2002.

Item 4: Introductory Comments by Co-Chairpersons

This portion of the agenda provides an opportunity for the Committee Co-Chairpersons to make announcements or comments.

Item 5: Comments by Committee Members

This portion of the agenda provides an opportunity for Committee members to make announcements or comments.

Item 6: Presentations By Community Groups

Representatives of the Serra Mesa Planning Group, Mission Valley Planning Committee, and Mission Valley Community Council will give their views of the current impact of Qualcomm Stadium on the community and their thoughts on the impact if the stadium site is developed for other uses.

Item 7: Discussion With City Engineer Frank Belock

City Engineer Frank Belock will discuss stadium seismic issues, lowering the field, environmental issues from the 1997 expansion and respond to related questions from the sub-committee.

Item 8: Proposal By Mr. Jim Schmidt on The Remodeling of Qualcomm Stadium

Mr. Jim Schmidt, citizen, will discuss his proposal to renovate Qualcomm stadium which he presented at the October 10, 2002 Chargers Task Force Meeting.

Item 9: Presentation by Douglas Barnhardt

Douglas Barnhardt who is a contractor will present his view point of the condition of Qualcomm Stadium.

Item 10: Future Meeting Agendas

Discussion of future committee meeting schedules and agenda topics.

Item 11: Public Comment

This portion of the agenda provides an opportunity for members of the public to address the committee on items of interest within the jurisdiction of the committee. Comments will be limited to three minutes per speaker.
