  <title>Ted Williams Parkway Pedestrian Bridge Project Groundbreaking Ceremony</title>

  <description><![CDATA[The much anticipated Ted Williams Parkway Pedestrian Bridge Project officially broke ground on April 5, 2013 ending a 10-year long process to bring the bridge to fruition.  The project will construct a 479-ft bridge over Ted Williams Parkway creating a safer route for bicyclists, pedestrians, and the area elementary school children to cross the busy six-lane road at Shoal Creek Drive.<br><br>

            <title>Pole Removal Ceremony for Project Block 1R, University City</title> 
            <link/> 
            <description><![CDATA[The City of San Diego's <a href="http://www.sandiego.gov/undergrounding/">Utilities Undergrounding Program</a> marks another milestone as the final pole is removed for a project located in a University City neighborhood.  In April 2009, work began to underground the utility lines along Pennant Way between Stresemann Street and Regents Road.  The project placed 3.4 miles of overhead utility lines underground for 448 properties at a cost of $7.5 million.<br><br>
