Skyline Hills Branch Library**UPDATE**The City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture will host a talk with Gail Simpson of Actual Size Artworks, the artist team selected to create a permanent public artwork for the new Skyline Hills Branch Library. The event will provide the community with a unique and interactive opportunity to share their knowledge about the neighborhood and learn more about the art for their library. The event will take place on Thursday, December 4, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the existing Skyline Hills Branch Library. The library is located at 480 S. Meadowbrook Drive. The new Skyline Hills Branch Library is located at 7844 Paradise Valley Road on a 3.6 acres lot. The project consists of construction of a single-story 15,000 square foot library and demolition of the existing 4,400 square foot library. The facility includes reading areas, a community room, computer rooms, staff offices/support area, and public art.
