Public information staff provides direct assistance to the public in response to telephone or in-person inquiries at the City Information Center, answering approximately 100,000 telephone calls each year.
The center also prepares resource publications, distributes Citywide news releases, phone listings, and maintains several of the Citys easy-to-use sources of information about departments, programs, and City agencies and how to contact them.
