General Trial Unit

This unit is responsible for processing, negotiating and trying all cases to which defendants plead not guilty. Trial deputies are assigned to one of three trial teams immediately upon finishing the training program. Trial deputies handle jury and bench trials, probation revocation hearings, restitution hearings, and cover the arraignment and trial-setting departments. Our deputies handle complex, sensitive cases, and see these through from beginning to end.
