San Diego Family Justice Center & Verizon Wireless Launch Hopeline Drive
The San Diego City Attorney's Office, San Diego Family Justice Center, Councilmember Marti Emerald and other city departments held a press conference on October 9 announcing the launch of the month-long Verizon Wireless HopeLine drive as well as the presentation of a HopeLine grant to the San Diego Family Justice Center.
Ruffin Canyon Pedestrian Tunnel Opens
The San Diego City Attorney's Office, Councilmember Donna Frye and Councilmember Todd Gloria held a press conference and ribbon cutting ceremony to open the Ruffin Canyon Pedestrian Tunnel which will connect Ruffin Canyon to the San Diego River and Normal Heights Canyon, giving residents a pathway through a section of Serra Mesa and Mission Valley. The press conference was held on July 29th.
The Beach Area Community Court Program
The San Diego City Attorney's Office and community partners held a collaborative press conference on May 19th to discuss the Beach Area Community Court program and how the community and agency partners are coming together to prevent quality of life crimes at the beach.
University Of San Diego School Of Law - Ethics Seminar Video
The San Diego City Attorney's Office conducted a full day of training on ethics of a Municipal Lawyer on December 13th, 2008 at the University of San Diego School of Law. The seminar was organized and moderated by Professor David McGowan and over 135 deputy city attorneys and some members of the public attended.
