Councilmember Lightner celebrated UCSD's 50th Anniversary with a proclamation at City Council on November 9, 2010. Participating were UCSD Chancellor Marye Anne Fox, Mayor Sanders, King Triton, the Men’s Baseball and Women’s Water Polo teams, and other UCSD students, faculty and staff.
