Emergency Preparedness
The 2003 Cedar Fire reminded San Diegans about the need to be prepared for disaster. We received more reminders about preparedness in 2005 from another fire in Rancho Peñasquitos and from the evacuations from hurricanes on the Gulf Coast. This page contains some helpful information about what the City is doing to be ready for a disaster and what you can do to protect your home and your family.
