Torrey Del Mar Neighborhood Park

Torrey Highlands Neighborhood Park

Planning and design for the five acre Torrey Del Mar Neighborhood Park (formerly called Torrey Highlands Neighborhood Park Number Two) is underway. The park, located at the corner of Torrey Del Mar Drive and Kerry Lane, is the first of two neighborhood parks planned for the Torrey Highlands Community. The Rancho Peñasquitos Park and Recreation Council, in conjunction with residents in the Torrey Del Mar community, have selected a design incorporating a sport court, tot lot, older children play area, multi-use field space, and trail head to a vast network of open space trails. Originally scheduled to open in 2011, the park will open for public use in the fall of 2007 due to Council President Scott Peters’ work to accelerate the funding for the park.
