Q: Can anything be done about speeding in the area?
A: Speeding continues to be a problem throughout District 1. It is important to remember to control your speeds, especially in residential areas. Several months ago Councilman Peters worked with local developers to find money to buy a speed trailer that is specifically dedicated to the Rancho Penasquitos / Torrey Highlands area. The trailer has been placed on Camino Del Sur several times with positive effect. Police will also be doing random enforcement on problem streets to try to get people to slow down. Please contact Councilman Peters& office or the Police if problems increase.
