Supporting the Rose Canyon Recreation Interpretive Project

Tuesday, July 06, 2004

To Whom It May Concern:

I am pleased to support the Rose Canyon Recreation Council’s Interpretive Project in Rose Canyon Open Space Park. Senior Park Ranger Carla Frogner will oversee the project, which is located at the Genesee entrance of the park, adjacent to University City High School.

This project includes clearing half an acre of highly disturbed habitat in Rose Canyon, replanting over 300 native plants, placing informative panels that describe environmental facts relevant to the park and its habitat.

I am a proud supporter of this project and The Recreation Council is looking forward to working with community volunteers.

Thank you for your commitment to the community and for helping preserve our open space.

Sincerely,

Scott H. Peters
