City of San Diego, AB 811 Clean Generation Program
Councilmember Lightner invites you to attend an informational session regarding the City's Clean Generation Program.
The City of San Diego's Clean Generation Program is a renewable energy, energy efficiency and water efficiency financing program based on California Assembly Bill 811 from July 2008.
AB 811 allows the City of San Diego to finance the installation of renewable energy sources and energy and water efficiency improvements, through low-interest loans that would be repaid on the property owner's property tax bill. This program will help create local clean/green jobs and remove barriers keeping people from installing renewable energy sources and efficiency improvements in their homes.
Mayor Jerry Sanders and his staff will be hosting informational sessions (PDF) throughout the City regarding the Clean Generation Program.
Councilmember Lightner will be attending the meeting in District 1, which will be held on Tuesday, November 03, 2009 at:
Standley Middle School Auditorium
