Volunteers Sought for San Diego Police Department RSVP Traffic Division
Men and women age 50+ are urgently needed by the San Diego Police Department's Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol (RSVP) Traffic Division. This is an excellent, rewarding and interesting opportunity for citizens to help their community.
Candidates for this program should be in good health, fluent in English, possess a California driver's license and be able to pass a standard Police background check.
Volunteers will attend the RSVP Academy for five days of SDPD Basic Training, followed by three days of SDPD Specialized Training in Traffic Direction and Control at SDPD Traffic Division Headquarters. For more information, contact Unit Administrator Bob Stewart at (858) 495-7827.
