Betsy Brennan Kinsley - Chief of Staff

Betsy Brennan Kinsley previously served as a Council Representative in the community of La Jolla. In this position she was also responsible for advising Councilman Peters on land use matters, utilities, water policy, coastal infrastructure and arts and culture issues. Betsy has also worked as a Legislative Clerk for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Commerce in Washington, D.C. Her duties included research and policy development related to utilities. A native of Upstate New York, Betsy now calls Carmel Valley home. She graduated with a B.A. from the University of Richmond in Virginia and a J.D. from the University of San Diego. Betsy now serves as Chief of Staff for Councilman Peters.
