Mel Millstein
Council Representative
Mel represents the Carmel Valley, Pacific Highlands Ranch, and Del Mar Mesa communities for the Councilmember and assists her with the Public Safety and Neighborhood Services Committee and the Rules, Open Government and Intergovernmental Relations Committee.
Prior to joining the District 1 Office, Mel was a staff member on Councilmember Lightner's City Council campaign. Before becoming involved in local politics, Mel was a Research Consultant for Advanced Biotherapy Concepts Inc. He also assisted Advanced Biotherapy Board Members by translating reports from the Russian to English language. Mel graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Political Science.
