Mel Millstein - Council Representative

Mel represents the Carmel Valley, Pacific Highlands Ranch, and Torrey Hills communities for the Councilmember and assists her on the Public Safety and Neighborhood Services Committee.

Prior to joining the District 1 Office, Mel was a staff member on Councilmember Lightner's City Council campaign. Before becoming involved in local politics, Mel was a Research Consultant for Advanced Biotherapy Concepts Inc. He also assisted Advanced Biotherapy Board Members by translating reports from the Russian to English language. Mel is currently finishing his education at the University of California at San Diego, where he majors in Political Science with an emphasis on International Relations.
