Ian Clampett
Council Representative
Ian Clampett is Kevin's representative and policy advisor for the Western Clairemont neighborhoods of Bay Ho and Bay Park, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach and the Morena district. He advises Kevin on issues relating to water, public infrastructure, transportation, historic preservation, and Community Development Block Grants (CDBG). Ian serves as Kevin’s policy advisor for the Rules and Economic Development Committee.
A native San Diegan, Ian earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, San Diego. Prior to joining the Second District office in 2011, Ian volunteered in numerous State Assembly offices and worked in government affairs for Bridgepoint Education. He enjoys surfing, snowboarding and playing music.
Ian is fluent in Spanish and represents Kevin to the Latino community.
