Katie Hansen
Chief of Staff
Katie Hansen oversees day-to-day operations for Kevin. She is responsible for community representation, policy, communications, office management and legislative relations.
Prior to joining the Second District office in 2011, Hansen worked for the California Restaurant Association as director of local government affairs for Imperial, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties.
Previously, she served as the associate director of public policy for BIOCOM, a biotechnology trade association, where she was responsible for local government affairs, the San Diego Biotechnology PAC and interaction with the FDA. She has worked on several political campaigns and has held board positions in numerous political organizations.
Hansen is a graduate of San Diego State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and history.
