Dion Akers, Council Representative

Dion is a politically active graduate of San Diego State University with degrees in Public Relations and Political Science. In addition to his involvement in local campaigns, Dion's experience includes management of recreation and aquatics facilities throughout Southern California. His interests include fitness, walking his dog and reading.

Dion represents Councilmember Gloria in Kensington, Talmadge, University Heights, Normal Heights and with the El Cajon Boulevard Business Improvement District. He also handles proclamations and works on issues related to sports franchises and veterans for the District Three office.
