Anthony Bernal, Council RepresentativeAnthony Bernal, a native of Kern County, moved to San Diego in 2005 and brings a variety of experience from both the private and non-profit sectors. He has worked for an engineering design/construction management firm on matters related to the water and wastewater industry. He has also worked with an affiliate of National Council of La Raza addressing issues affecting the Latino community. Anthony earned his undergraduate degree from University of the Pacific in Stockton. His interests include training for half marathons and playing tennis. He also leads introduction for Landmark Education, a global training and development company. Anthony serves as Councilmember Gloria's representative to the neighborhoods of Golden Hill, South Park, and City Heights and works on issues related to utilities, water, wastewater, health, lights, abandoned vehicles and parks and recreation.
