Pamela Ison
Deputy Chief of Policy/Budget and Finance Committee Consultant
Born and raised in San Diego, Pamela is a graduate of Samuel F.B. Morse High School in southeastern San Diego. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California at Los Angeles with majors in economics and political science and a minor in cultural and linguistic anthropology. She is also a 2008 graduate of LEAD San Diego. Pamela previously served as Council Representative and Policy Advisor during Councilmember Toni Atkins' second term in office. She has a background in finance and community development banking, having worked at the Port of San Diego and Bank of America, respectively.
In her spare time, Pamela enjoys traveling, photography, art exhibits and relaxing at the beach. Also a sports enthusiast, she enjoys playing golf, basketball, football, kickball, and tennis.
Pam is the consultant to the Budget and Finance Committee. She also handles audit issues and economic development for Council President Gloria.
