Katie Keach, Deputy Chief of Staff

Katie Keach brings to Council District Three a wide range of experience from government service and the private sector. Before working for Councilmember Gloria, Katie worked for elected officials at the federal, state and local levels, for the San Diego City Firefighters and for a private ambulance company. Katie attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where she received a degree in Communication. She is also a 2010 graduate of LEAD San Diego.

Katie currently lives in Loma Portal and enjoys walking at the beach and baking.

Katie handles media inquiries and communications for Councilmember Gloria as well as Community Development Block Grant funding, and policy issues related to fire and rescue services, transportation and contracting.
