The San Diego Redistricting Commission approved new City Council District boundaries last night. It modifies District 3 by removing City Heights, Kensington and Talmadge and adding Mission Hills, Old Town, Bankers Hill, Park West and all of Downtown.

More pothole relief is on the way! Council is voting today to repair over 120 miles of roads citywide. District Three will see many smoother streets including portions of Adams Avenue, 6th Avenue, Pershing Drive and many more.

Pipeline work will completely close SR-163 between Interstate 8 and A Street on Friday and Saturday nights. From Monday to Friday, expect at least one lane in either direction to be closed between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. On Friday and Saturday, the entire section of SR-163 between I-8 and A Street will be closed from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m.

In case you missed it, this story was on Channel 10 News: Downtown High-Rise To Become Homeless Shelter; Project Will Convert World Trade Center Building On A Street. What I believe to be the most important project in Downtown took a big step forward today.
