Lomita Village is a community centrally located in South East San Diego. It is surrounded by Lemon Grove (Jamacha Road) to the North; Spring Valley (Cardiff Street) to the East; Paradise Hills (W. Worthington) to the South and Encanto (Meadowbrook) to the West.

Lomita Village was constructed in the early 1960’s, and at that time was comprised of mostly military families. Today, Lomita Village is a mix of long time residents, and young couples starting families. It boasts an award winning elementary school.

Despite Lomita Village’s recent gentrification, with remodeling and face lifting, it still offers some of the most affordable housing in San Diego.
