Liezl Mangonon
Policy and Intergovernmental Affairs Advisor
Liezl serves as Councilmember Young's Policy and Intergovernmental Affairs Advisor and liaison to the Asian/ Pacific Islander community in District Four. She is responsible for advising the Councilmember on policy issues at the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, San Diego Metropolitan Transit System, San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) and on the Community Development Block Grant Program. Liezl also assists with constituent services and correspondence and is currently working on special projects.
Liezl graduated with a B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. During her time at U.S.D., she was highly involved in the Filipino "Ugnayan" Student Organization (F.U.S.O.) and the Filipino Collegiate Collaborative (F.C.C.).
Liezl loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys traveling.
