Venus Molina, Chief Policy Advisor
Venus Molina, a graduate of the University of San Diego earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations. As Chief Policy Advisor, Ms. Molina plays an important role on Councilman Tony Young’s staff. She is highly experienced in dealing with city and district related business issues, finances, and citywide contracts. The scope of her work includes Staff Representative to the Reinvestment Task Force, Rules Committee, SANDAG Borders Committee, Southeastern Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), and the Center City Development Corporation (CCDC). Ms. Molina’s specific geographical areas of responsibility include the communities of Broadway Heights, Diamond Business Investment District (BID), Jamacha, and Mt. Hope. Ms. Molina has established a well earned distinction of community volunteerism, and currently serves as Board President of the Sherman Heights Community Center. Beyond work, Ms. Molina cherishes time with her son, family, and close friends.
