Priorities | Council District 6

"The following is a list of my top 10 priorities for the Sixth Council District. This is not a complete list, but is meant as a representation of important issues and projects identified by my office and the residents of the Sixth District. This list is in no particular order."

	Protect and preserve canyons and open space throughout District Six and the City of San Diego
	Implement undergrounding of utilities throughout District Six
	Increase safety, both pedestrian and vehicular, on our neighborhood streets
	Ensure that District 6 and the City of San Diego are accessible for all members of our community
	Prioritize deferred maintenance needs and identify funding sources
	Create a lead prevention program for the City of San Diego
	Complete the design and begin construction of the Serra Mesa/Kearny Mesa Branch Library; Complete construction of the Mission Valley Branch Library; Design and construct the expanded Balboa Branch Library
	Organize more efficient response to citizen complaints, increase public participation and establish enhanced community Right To Know Policy
	Protect, preserve and restore water quality in Mission Bay, San Diego River and all water bodies in the City of San Diego
	Implement/update community plans
