A native San Diegan, Kelly graduated from Rancho Bernardo High School and received her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from San Diego State University.
Kelly has spent the last ten years specializing on water and transportation issues, and focusing on community outreach on the State and Local levels throughout Riverside and San Diego Counties. She volunteers her time in Rancho Bernardo by serving on the PTA board, Rancho Bernardo Community Council and the Rancho Bernardo Hats Off to Volunteers Committee.
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her four children, and attending SDSU football and basketball games with her kids and husband who she met while attending SDSU.
Kelly will be responsible for advising the Councilmember on policy issues related to public safety, libraries, parks & recreation. She is also the Councilmember’s committee advisor for Public Safety & Neighborhood Services and Rules. In addition to her policy duties, Kelly oversees outreach to the District 6 communities and Community Development Block Grants.
