Cheri serves as Director of Office Administration for Council District 6 and manages Councilmember Zapf's schedule. Prior to joining the District 6 office, she worked for the San Diego Convention Center. She received a professional certificate in Meeting and Event Planning from San Diego State University and has been organizing corporate, non-profit and social events and fundraisers in San Diego and Los Angeles for the past 10 years. While in college, she worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in San Diego and Washington, D.C., and later in Los Angeles for Marvin Davis Companies, owner of 20th Century Fox Studios and Pebble Beach Golf Course.
