Kevin Smith, Policy Advisor, Press Secretary

Kevin advises Councilmember Frye on issues dealing with the City Employees Retirement System and issues regarding public safety. He also serves as Councilmember Frye's Press Secretary. Kevin was raised in Newburyport, Massachusetts. He attended Bridgewater State College and earned his bachelors degree in History with minors in Political Science and Secondary Education. After several years of teaching history to middle and high school students, he decided to pursue a career in politics. He is currently in the process of obtaining a Masters Degree in Public Policy at San Diego State University.
