City Heights
City Heights covers three different council districts. The neighborhoods in District Seven are surrounded by Euclid Avenue to the west and south, El Cajon Boulevard to the north, and Chollas Parkway and 54th Street to the east. Its communities include Chollas Creek, Colina Del Sol, Fox Canyon, and Islenair.
If you are interested in other City Heights issues including its new projects and redevelopment, you may attend the City Heights Area Planning Committee (CHAPC) meeting or the City Heights Project Area Committee (PAC) meeting.
CHAPC meets on the first Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. on the third floor community room of the Metro Career Center, located at 3910 University Avenue. Information for the meetings, including the agenda, can be found at www.neighborhoodlink.com/sandiego/chapc.
The PAC meets the second Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m. also on the third floor community room of the Metro Career Center. Information for those meetings can be found at www.sandiego.gov/redevelopment-agency/cityhts.shtml
Fox Canyon is currently the only neighborhood with an established neighborhood association. The neighborhood of Fox Canyon is bordered by University Avenue to the north, Euclid Avenue to the east, Dwight Street and Lantana Drive to the south and Auburn Drive and Estrella Avenue to the east. The Fox Canyon Neighborhood Association meets the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm in the community room of the Auburn Park Apartments located 5123 University Avenue.
