Marisa Berumen - Policy Advisor

Marisa Berumen serves as Policy Advisor for Councilmember Emerald. She assists the Chief of Policy and coordinates the City Council docket briefs for the Councilmember.

Marisa is also responsible for City-wide Redevelopment, Historic Resources Board, San Diego Housing Commission, Land Use and Housing Committee, League of California Cities, and Development Services including Land Use. In addition, she serves as the Field representative for the communities of Alvarado Estates and Fox Canyon Neighborhood Association.

A native San Diegan, Marisa is a graduate of SDSU.
