Marisa Berumen
Senior Policy Advisor & Community Representative
Marisa Berumen serves as Senior Policy Advisor for Councilmember Emerald. She assists the Councilmember with the City Council docket briefs.
Marisa is also responsible for City-wide Redevelopment, Intergovernmental affairs, Port Commission, San Diego Convention Center, and Rules Committee. In addition, she serves as the Field Representative for the communities of Allied Gardens, Grantville, and Tierrasanta.
A native San Diegan, Marisa is a graduate of SDSU with a degree in political science.
