Tim Taylor
Council Representative
As Council Representative, Tim Taylor is privileged to serve the many neighborhoods comprising San Diego's diverse College Area.
Tim's background includes extensive professional experience in land use, having previously served the public as a City Planner for the Cities of Escondido, Poway, and Santee, as well as the County of San Diego. Tim brings that experience to Team Emerald, advising the Councilmember on policy issues spanning Land Use, Housing and Transportation.
A long time San Diego resident, Tim currently lives in the District 7 community of Tierrasanta. He is an avid fan of the San Diego Padres and, in his spare time, enjoys traveling, hiking and sailing, as well as a good game of backgammon. A proud Aztec, Tim graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration and a Master's Degree in City Planning.
