Special Reading Event at St. Gregory's
On June 9, Councilmember Marti Emerald joined Principal O’Connell and the young students at St. Gregory the Great’s for a special reading event. These K through 4th graders read along and asked lots of questions as the Councilmember read aloud a Dr. Seuss favorite Oh! The Places You’ll Go! In the spirit of upcoming Father’s Day, The Giving Tree prompted a brainstorming session of how each student can contribute to make their families even more special. St. Gregory the Great Catholic School is a parochial K-8 elementary school located in the beautiful community of Stonebridge in the northeast corner of District 7.
