City of San Diego's City Planning & Community Investment Strategy for 2002-2004 (PDF:191K)
The City's two-year City Planning & Community Investment strategy, which was updated with the input of more than 40 partner agencies and interested parties, covers a broad range of topics. Five issue areas include: regional economic prosperity; increasing economic opportunity; implementing "smart growth;" energy independence; and revenue enhancement.
Fiscal Years 2005-2009 Consolidated Plan
The goals of the Consolidated Plan include providing decent housing, providing a suitable living environment, and expanding economic opportunities. Required by the U.S. Housing and Urban Development Department, the plan was prepared by the City's City Planning & Community Investment Department and the City of San Diego Housing Commission.
