Types of Permits/Approvals
No-Plan Permits
Many projects can be permitted without plans. These "No-Plan" projects include work such as:
- Installing a new electrical circuit
- Replacement of a heating system
- Adding or replacing a water heater

Other "No-Plan" projects may be a little more complicated and won’t qualify for a SimplE-Permit. However, permits for those projects are still easy to obtain. Simply make an appointment with Development Services by phoning (619) 446-5300.
