  Overview

Public Hearings

The decision process to approve the discretionary action usually takes place at a noticed public hearing. At that hearing the decision maker will either, approve, conditionally approve or deny your application for the project. To prepare the project for hearing, City staff must review the proposal and make a recommendation to the decision maker. This is done through a review process where your plans are submitted and the City reviews them against codes established for discretionary permits.
