6.  INSPECTION
  Types of Inspections

Pool & Spa Inspections

  1. Steel and Bond Inspection
    Requested after the pool has been excavated, reinforcing steel has been installed, and the electrical bonding clamp[s] and conductor(s) have been installed.
  2. Underground Inspection
    Requested for any underground piping and electrical conduit, and to verify that surface drains (including that for outdoor showers) do not convey rain water into the city storm drain system.
  3. Pre-Plaster Inspection
    Requested after the pool or spa is gunited, but before it is plastered. All pool fencing [temporary or permanent], pool gates and pool door alarms must be installed.
  4. Pool Final
    After the pool or spa is filled with water and all pool features have been installed and the pool equipment has been turned on and is operating properly.
