Preliminary review is a service you may use to help determine the feasibility of your development project. As the name indicates, this meeting is most effective when held prior to formally submitting your project. During preliminary review you can request an estimate of the time and costs it will take to go through the entire permitting process. There is a fee associated with this service, and you can make a one-hour appointment in our Development Services Center, at 1222 First Avenue, 3rd Floor by calling (619) 446-5300.

For more information about the Preliminary Review process and the costs involved see Preliminary Review Information Bulletin 513 (PDF: 213K).
