Airport Authority Amendments
The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority , as the Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC), is in the process of preparing new and updated Airport Land Use Compatibility Plans (ALUCPs) for each public-use airport and military air installation in the County. Since the ALUC does not have land use authority, the City implements the ALUCPs through land use plans, development regulations, and zoning ordinances. After the ALUC adoption of the ALUCPs, the City will work with the ALUC to identify amendments to the Land Development Code as part the implementation of the ALUCPs that affect land use within the City.
