The City of San Diego Personnel Department maintains a competitive merit system that provides equal employment opportunity to all applicants. An employee, contract worker, volunteer or job applicant who believes that he or she has been discriminated against at work can file a complaint of discrimination with the City of San Diego Equal Employment Investigations Office (EEIO).
If you believe that you have been discriminated against because of your race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability/genetic information or sexual orientation, you can contact EEIO.
