LIFEGUARD TESTING

OTHER CITY JOBS TESTING
Civil Service requires that you take a test to qualify for some job positions. Not all open positions require a test. Any test requirements for the job position are stated in the screening process section of the job announcement.

The Personnel Department uses a screening process to evaluate your qualifications. This process may consist of an evaluation of experience and/or training listed on the application, an interview, a written test, a performance test or any combination of the above. If a test or interview is required, you will be notified by mail of the date, time and location. Some jobs have no formal testing, only a careful review of the application materials.

TEST SCORES
If you took a written examination, you may obtain your test scores by contacting the Testing Section at (619) 236-6358 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday, within 30 days from the notice date on the Notice of Test Results.
