The Mission Bay Park Endowment Fund offers those who enjoy one of San Diego's most wonderful assets
an opportunity to give a valuable and permanent gift and, in return, a means to keep the park
beautiful and inviting to guests forever. The Endowment is designed to improve and enhance the park
beyond the capabilities of tax-supported funding. The fund was established in 1987 under the
auspices of The San Diego Foundation by Thunderboats Unlimited from their annual
hydroplane race on Mission Bay.
