From its southern edge at Lake Murray, stretching north through Cowles Moutain and touching the
communities of La Mesa and Santee, there is one of San Diego treasures: Mission Trails Park. More
than 790,160 visitors have enjoyed the Visitor Center since it opened in 1995. Its over 6,000 acres gives
all San Diegans an opportunity to spend time in the wilderness, hiking, fishing and camping.
The dream of the Parks Foundation is that an endowment fund they have established at The San Diego Foundation will maintain this natural environment forever.
Endowment Principal: $25,000
