Pipe Plant Production Inspection
Monitors production and quality control testing to assure pipes meet project and production specifications. Most of our out pipe inspection is done out of town. We have inspectors who can travel to wherever production is occurring. We inspect pipe in the LA area and travel to areas such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, Texas, Alabama, and Stockton.

Miscellaneous
The test lab is also able to provide reviews of concrete and hot mix asphalt mix designs for
conformance to Standard Specifications. The test lab keeps running averages of quality control
tests performed at the plants inspected for reference.
Scheduling Testing Services
Forty eight (48) hours notification is required before the start of any work. Time required is especially critical when starting fill work or when soils or other sampling is required. Call (858) 627-3279 to schedule inspections.
Twenty four (24) hours notification is required when scheduling work for the following day. Calls to the Lab must be made before noon of the preceding day.
Seven (7) days notification is required for plants outside of the Southern California area to ensure scheduling. Costs for inspections outside the boundaries established in the contract shall be borne by the contractor.
The information that must be provided to staff to properly schedule the work is as follows:
Project Name
Contractor Name
Date of Work
Type of Work Requested
|
Project Location
