Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb Exchange Events

The City of San Diego encourages all residents to help conserve energy this year by participating in one of the upcoming "Light Bulb Exchange" events. Bring up to five (5) incandescent light bulbs to exchange for five (5) free energy-efficient Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs (CFLs), while supplies last. You must also bring a Valid California ID and/or your SDG&E bill. CFLs use about one-fourth to one-third the energy of comparable incandescent bulbs and last up to 10 times longer!

At the following summer events, residents will receive free energy saving light bulbs, a free water savings kit, and two-for-one admission at the Birch Aquarium.
