Lead Safe Neighborhoods Program Overview
Lead Safe Neighborhoods Program Services Include:Liaison Outreach Training Lead-hazard Investigation Lead-hazard Removal
*Residents must qualify as low income, and there must be a child
below the age of seven spending at least 30 percent of his or her time
in the home. Blood Testing LSNP is administered by several City departments and a City agency, including: the Environmental Services Department (ESD), the City Attorney's Office/ Neighborhood Code Compliance Department, the Development Services Department and the San Diego Housing Commission. ESD has the overall coordination responsibility. ESD staff members associated with the LSNP are certified by the State of California to perform inspections and project monitoring related to the safe abatement of lead hazards.
